Based on the Firetext tutorial at www.absolutecross.com

1. Start with a blank canvas and fill it with black.

2. Use a white paintbrush and draw the center of the flame, giving it the shape you want.

3. Go to Image>Rotate Canvas>90 CW.

4. Go to Filter>Stylize>Wind. Choose 'From the Right' and click OK. Hit Ctrl-F twice to apply this filter two more times.

5. Go to Image>Rotate Canvas>90 CCW.

6. Go to Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur. Use a setting of about 2 pixels. Click OK.

7. Go to Filter>Distort>Ripple. Click OK.

8. All these commands are in the Image>Mode menu. Go to: Grayscale, then Indexed Color, then Color Table and choose 'Black Body'.

9.Say wow.
